Introduction

This is the blog for the Kemble and Cirencester 3 peaks expedition.

Between 17 and 20 June 2010 a group of 22 explorers will set off to climb the 3 highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon). The challenge is to complete the 3 peaks in 24 hours.

Carlisle to Fort William

After a restful nights sleep (road noise & sauna like rooms apart) at the luxurious Chez Travel Inn, the troops filled up with a hearty breakie before setting off on leg 2 of the trip.

The shogun squad piloted by Carl, were bouncing along to Martin's iPod mixes!

Carolyn followed with Scenic crew, wondering if Carl really would ever use the cruise control.

Nick and the party 'bus' people were the tail end Charlies, debating the merits of more room vs speed of travel

quote of the morning - "are we there yet?"
